It’s always refreshing to take a spiritual ride to another part of the world. But make no mistake, should these ghostly images be real, the situations are bound to instill a chilling effect on the viewer. It’s one thing to see a ghost looking out of a window from an attic, but when a hand is reaching out from the spirit world behind a person being photographed, it casts a more sobering light on matters.

This collage spotlights various ghost sightings in Japan. These seem to be personal photos which had been discovered to posses extra characters in the final image. Some of the faces and body parts showing up in the pictures are pretty scary considering that the person being photographed did not realize they had a ghost standing behind them.

The most terrifying images are the seemingly innocent ones. Children being photographed are seen to have images of spirit creatures behind them. It only makes one wonder what history the location of the picture had to conjure up such chilling encounters. The eyes of most of the subjects in this compilation have been blacked out to ensure privacy, but that does not effect the scariness of the ghostly appearances.

I know that if I were to look at a photo taken of me to discover a hand on my shoulder from a spirit, I would certainly think twice about going back to the place of that encounter. Believe them or not - they seem to have convinced enough people that paranormal images are real enough!
